
Kolobe, which means warthog, is a privately owned and used game ranch situated in a MALARIA FREE area with about 340mm rainfall per year.As the crow flies we are 5 km North of Alldays in the Northern Province and (420 km per road from Centurion, PTA) with no gravel road to travel.
Our Bush Camp
The camp consists of a lounge, dining room and kitchen combination all open plan with microwave, DSTV and fridges. The first chalet has 2 double bedrooms sleeping 2 people respectively, they share a bathroom and is for our own private use. The second chalet has 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 people in each and make use of the communal bathroom. Our third chalet houses the communal bathroom and separate toilet as well as our kids room which sleeps 2. All units are loose standing and the camp can sleep 14 people in total. Outside there is a braai area for that evening braai and an old "koolstoof" to handle all your cooking. The camp has Eskom electricity with a 10kva backup generator. There is a electric geyser and a "donkey" as backup to supply warm water. The town of Alldays has the following: bottle stores, butchery (with meat processing should you prefer), petrol, hotel, At se Gat (the hunters drinking hole), Standard and ABSA atm's, shop which provide most needed items and a taxidermy.

Hunting
Please note that only two rooms in our camp which sleeps 8 in total, i.e. 4 per room on 2 x single beds and a 1 x bunker bed per room are used for hunters and their guests. Next to your chalet is a separate bathroom and toilet. We the owners will occupy our own chalet, and also share the braai facilities during your stay. There is an outside kitchen area next to the braai facilities with everything that you might need, from a fridge and deepfreeze to pots/pans/kettle/glasses etc. Cooking is mainly done on gas, open fire and our old "koolstoof"

Directions
Take the N1 from Pretoria to Pietersburg, then follow the R521 via Dendron and Vivo to Alldays. At the T junction in Alldays turn right and head north towards Pont drift. Our farm is about 4.5 km out of Alldays on your right.

Cell phone reception is good along the entire route to, and on the farm. Aim for between 3:45 to 4 hours from Pretoria (Centurion) depending on your speed and stops to the farm.
DRIVE SAFELY!!
What to remember
Torch, and walking shoes.
Cooler boxes filled with packets of ice to be put in freezer when on the farm, and then used as needed in your drinks.
Binoculars and camera.
Sun block and costume in summer.
Please bring your own and enough mosquito (for summer) and tick (for winter) repellent as we don't supply.
Personal shower/bath toiletries and towels.
We use bore hole water which is clean and safe to drink. Bring along drinking water should you feel it necessary.

A non registered gravel/grass airstrip is available. USE

A flypast to see that no game is on the runway is suggested!
Land away from fence and closest to the tree line it is smoother! There is a yellow Goodyear windsock
next to the runway and a red one in the camp.
